I ordered the replacement part sending unit and it arrived within days. The part was an exact replacement and fit perfectly. It functioned as it was designed to. Very reasonable price. Satisfied customer!

I can finally see how much gas is in the tank. The gasket that comes with the unit is a little soft and got distorted slightly, I ended up using the old gasket (from 1971) along with it. Don't try this job without using the lock ring tool; ACP Part no. TL-FSU01, purchased from mcmproducts on ebay.

I would look that up specific to your vehicle, using the internet. 5/16 line goese from intank unit to in of fuel pump. Out of fuel pump goes to carb. You also may have a fuel vapor line back to tank. look that up.
