Seem better than the Amazon lift gate product. Not as heavy as the original Toyota lift gate struts. They worked for one full operation cycle then quit. I've tried every recommended solution to get them functional. However, the lift gate will not open. There is power to the lift gate struts and, the hatch will open and close manually with some effort. Not sure what happened. The Amazon product worked perfectly until one popped off the ball socket. Not sure what else to say other than I have a manual lift and close hatch and I'm tired of working on it.

Originally bought a cheap China made one and it failed after 9 months. This part is so much more quality made. I can tell I will get many years of use out of it.
