These rear leaf spring insulator inserts are aftermarket parts that are designed to replace broken or missing leaf spring insulators.

If every time you slow down, make a turn, or drive over rough road surfaces, you hear a popping sound, leaf spring slap, or a clunking noise towards the back of your truck, your insulating inserts could be the cause. These inserts are located on the leading and trailing ends of the overload spring (second stage leaf), as shown in the attached picture. If you look, you may find that these inserts may have broken apart from wear or even have fallen out. If this is the case, why not replace them now and stop that annoying noise coming from your leaf springs!

  • Comes as a SET of 4
    • Fits both LH (Driver Side) & RH (Passenger Side)
  • Kit includes:
    • (4) - Insulator Inserts
    • (4) - Locating Tabs
  • Will replace both sides of the insulator inserts on the LH (Driver Side) & RH (Passenger Side) REAR Leaf Springs
  • Replaces dealer part numbers: 15053476, 15247030, 15604067, 20870046

NOTE: This kit is for the following GM TSBs:

1) #03-03-09-002B - Rear Leaf Spring Slap or Clunk Noise (Replace Spring Inserts)
2) #06-08-61-003A - Underbody Pop or Clunk Type Noise While Turning or Driving on Uneven Road Surfaces (Install Body Mount Insulator)

This kit has enough parts to do both rear leaf springs. If you need to do only one side, please check our other listings.
