How to Replace Wiper Regulator 2009-19 Ford Fiesta

1. step 1 :Removing the Wiper Arms 0:24

   • Pry up the wiper arm caps with a trim tool
   • Remove the wiper arm bolts with a 15mm wrench
   • Lift the wiper arm up
   • Rock the wiper arm free and remove it
   • Repeat this process for the other side

2. step 2 :Removing the Cowl Panel 1:33

   • Pry off the six clips from the cowl panel with a flat blade screwdriver
   • Pop off the rubber seal on the windshield from the cowl panel
   • Lift the cowl panel up and off

3. step 3 :Removing the Windshield Wiper Transmission 2:24

   • Remove the center bolts with a 10mm socket and ratchet
   • Remove the two side bolts with an 8mm socket and ratchet
   • Disconnect the hose from the hose clip on the shroud
   • Remove the 10mm mounting bolts the shroud
   • Remove the three T30 screws from the headlight
   • Pry up and remove the body clip with a trim tool
   • Slide the headlight assembly forward
   • Remove the 10mm bolts from the side of the shroud
   • Lift the shroud up and out
   • Slide the windshield wiper transmission forward
   • Disconnect the electrical connector
   • Remove the windshield wiper transmission

4. step 4 :Installing the Windshield Wiper Transmission 5:20

   • Connect the windshield wiper transmission electrical connector
   • Insert the windshield wiper transmission into place, connecting the rubber bushing on the transmission to the guide on the vehicle
   • Insert the lower shroud into place
   • Tighten the 10mm bolts to the side of the shroud
   • Tighten the 10mm bolts beneath the shroud
   • Tighten the two 8mm bolts to the outer end of the wiper transmission
   • Tighten the 10mm bolt to the center of the wiper transmission
   • Insert the headlight into place
   • Press in the body clip to the headlight
   • Tighten the T30 Torx bolts to the headlight
   • Connect the hose to the hose bracket on the shroud

5. step 5 :Installing the Cowl Panel 9:35

   • Insert the cowl panel into place
   • Pop on the rubber seal on the windshield to the cowl panel
   • Clip on the six clips to the cowl panel

6. step 6 :Installing the Wiper Arms 10:48

   • Insert the wiper arms into place
   • Tighten the 15mm bolts to the wiper arms
   • Press on the wiper arm cover
