The only items you'll need for this repair are a new pair of wiper blades.
Lift up on the wiper arm off of the windshield. You push out on this black tab and slide the arm down. Carefully place your windshield wiper arm onto the glass. If you leave the wiper arm up and something happens and it slams down you risk breaking your windshield.
When you're ready to reinstall the wiper blade lift the arm up and keep a hand on it, rotate the clip into the vertical position, slide it around the wiper arm, and lock it into place. Fold your arm down, and lay it back onto the windshield.
