Check out this video to learn how to change the visor light bulbs in your 05-16 Toyota RAV4. Its simple to do, and you can do it yourself!
What's up guys? I'm Andy from 1A Auto. In this video I'm going to show you how to replace this mirror light in this 2010 Toyota RAV4. If you need parts for your vehicle, click the link in the description and head over to 1AAuto.com.
Just going to take a straight blade screwdriver and towards the center of the vehicle, just slide it in here. There is a clip. It's holding it in. It's somewhat difficult to get it. You just pry this down. There's the clip right there, and then you need to take the lamp. Just twist it to the side a little bit. There's a little ... a wad of wiring right there that holds that in. Just take the bulb out. Just grab the bulb, slide it right out. This is a 194 style bulb.
To reinstall the bulb, just line it up. You can open this mirror just to check and make sure it works. Looks good. Slide this back in position like that, and then just lock it up back in place.
Now if you're doing the driver's side, the latch part of it is actually on the outside, so that's kind of the opposite for this. You can get in there and push that down, makes it easier, and then you can pull the bulb out the same way. Pull it out, slide it back in position. Double check. Works great. Slide this back up, twist it in place, and lock it back in place.
