In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the throttle position sensor on this 2002 Suzuki XL-7. The tool that you're going to need for this is a Phillips bit and a ratchet. Your throttle position sensor is located right here. Just push the tab on the harness and pull it free.
Then you want to remove these two Phillips screws. We'll just fast-forward as Don does this. Once those are removed, the sensor will pull right off.
Take your new throttle position sensor, push it into place, and replace those two Phillips screws. We'll fast-forward as he replaces both of them and tightens them up. Then reconnect your harness and you're all set.
