How To Replace Throttle Position Sensor 1998-2006 Suzuki XL-7

  1. step 1 :Removing the Throttle Position Sensor
    • Push the tab and remove the throttle position sensor harness
    • Remove the two Phillips screws from the sensor
    • Remove the sensor
  2. step 2 :Installing the Throttle Position Sensor
    • Insert the throttle position sensor into place
    • Insert and tighten the two Phillips head screws
    • Connect the throttle position sensor harness

  • Phillips Bit in a Ratchet

In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the throttle position sensor on this 2002 Suzuki XL-7. The tool that you're going to need for this is a Phillips bit and a ratchet. Your throttle position sensor is located right here. Just push the tab on the harness and pull it free.

Then you want to remove these two Phillips screws. We'll just fast-forward as Don does this. Once those are removed, the sensor will pull right off.

Take your new throttle position sensor, push it into place, and replace those two Phillips screws. We'll fast-forward as he replaces both of them and tightens them up. Then reconnect your harness and you're all set.
