Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!

To change the bulbs in the tail lamp, you open the trunk. This will be the same from both sides. Unscrew this cargo net mount, pull the carpet back. This has one single harness that feeds all of the bulbs. Don't need to disconnect it here.

We'll start with this lower brake light bulb on the outside here. Turn it counter-clockwise to unlock it. It slides right out. It's a 7440; it's a dual filament. To change it, you just pull it straight out of the socket and then install the new one the same way, and push it back it in. Push it back into the opening. You'll find where the slots line up for the locks. There it is, and we'll turn it clockwise. It'll lock in.

See this bottom marker light bulb? Pull this out. So this is actually the wrong bulb. It was a 7440 and it needed to be a 7443, a dual filament, so the marker light part of it wasn't working. I'm going to replace it with the correct 7443. It'll just push right into place. Just turn it clockwise to lock it.

This top one is the reverse light bulb. Turn it counter-clockwise to unlock it. This is a 7440, a single filament. Push that into place. This top outside bulb is the turn signal bulb. Turn it counter-clockwise to unlock it. It's an amber bulb. This is a 7440 amber single filament bulb. To change it, you just pull it straight out of the socket, plug it back in, and install the socket and turn it clockwise to lock it.

The final bulb, it's on the outside here. Same thing, turn it counter-clockwise to unlock it. That is a 7443 dual filament. To change it, you just pull it out and reinstall this one, just push it right back in. Turn that clockwise in to lock it. Those are all the bulbs.

Put the carpet back. Slide it under the trim. Reinstall the cargo net hook. The back of a taillight housing, if you really had to question it, it tells you what size bulbs. So, for USA, 7443 goes in this spot. Same thing here, 7443. Over here it's a 7440. Up here it's a 7440, and over here it's saying a WY21W, which should be a 7440, just an amber.
