How to Replace Tail Light 2007-17 Ford Expedition

Okay, friends, to get started on the tail lamp, of course, we're gonna have the tailgate up. We're gonna remove our two mounting bolts right here, using a little Torx bit. Next thing we need to do is use a nice plastic trim tool. I'm gonna come along the edge right here behind the lens and just kind of help pop it out a little bit. Do the same down this way.

Let's move along this outer aspect. There we are. On the backside of that lamp, you're gonna see some connectors. Let's go ahead and twist these, remove the bulb. You wanna check it and make sure it's in good condition. Now is the perfect time to go ahead and replace them if need be. This one, as you can tell, is in pretty poor condition. I should replace that.

All right, friends. Now it's time to install our brand-new lamp. Press that in there, turn that in there. Now let's go ahead and line up our little pitons with the connecting holes. Slide this in. All right, once we have it lined up, a nice loving bonk, and then, of course, our two mounting screws. All right, let's go ahead and test it. Perfect.
