Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the sun visors in this 2008 Dodge Ram. The procedure's the same for 2006 to 2008. We show you on the passenger side, but the driver side is same is the same procedure. Items you'll need are new visors from 1AAuto.com, a small hooked pick, a ten millimeter socket with a ratchet and extension, and a T20 Torx driver.

To remove the A pillar, use a small hook pick to release the covers for the bolts. Using a 10mm socket and ratchet, remove the two bolts. Pop the A pillar out and release it from the dash.

Use a T20 Torx screwdriver to remove the three screws from the visor. Fold down your visor, un-clip it, pull down carefully on the headliner so you don't crease it until you can remove the connector to the visor. Using the hooked pick, release the connector to the visor.

You can see here that the wiring on our visor is chaffed through, which keeps the vanity mirror from lighting up.

Here we have our old part from the vehicle, and a new part from 1AAuto.com. As you can see, we have the exact same size and shape. We have the same 3-pin bracket to bolt into the ceiling, the same wiring harness and connector, same vanity mirror and light. It even comes with an airbag advisory sticker on it. This new part from 1A Auto is going to go in, direct fit, just like our original equipment and fix you up right.

Reconnect the electrical connector. Pull down carefully on your head liner. Feed the wire back up out of the way. Clip it back into the hook. Reinstall your three T20 screws.

We're going to install the bottom of the A pillar into the dash. Line up the top of the pillar. Make sure that your door is seal, weatherstrip is over the A pillar before snapping the clips into place.

Thanks for tuning in. We hope this video helped you out. Next time you need parts for your car, please visit 1AAuto.com. Also check out our other helpful how-to and diagnosis videos.
