Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the side marker light as well as replace the bulb on this 2002 Suzuki Xl7. The only tool that you're going to need is a Phillips screwdriver.
Start off by removing these two Philips screws. Pull the side marker light free and pry out on this tab to free it from the bracket. Then push down on this tab to pull the harness free.
To replace the bulb, you just twist out the socket and pull the bulb out. Then you push your new bulb in and twist the socket clockwise to lock it. Push that harness back on the bracket and then reconnect the harness.
Push the side market light back into place. Make sure the outside gasket's in place. Then replace the two Philips screws. Then you're all set.
