How to repair, install, fix, change or replace a liftgate strut on 08, 09, 10, 11, 12 Ford Escape

  1. step 1 :Removing the Liftgate Struts
    • Open the liftgate
    • Have an assistant hold the hood
    • Pry out the lock on the top of the strut with a pick
    • Pull the top off the ball stud
  2. step 2 :Installing the Liftgate Struts
    • Press the bottom of the strut onto the ball stud
    • Press the top of the strut onto the ball stud
