Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
To start on your vehicle, there is lift support struts on the rear window. You can see the ones on my vehicle are in good shape. The way you can tell if these are going bad is they don't quite lift up when it's cold outside. If you're getting that, then that just means that they're going to get worse and worse, and, most likely, they'll start failing when it's warm. Replacing them is pretty easy. You just need a flat blade screwdriver.
There are little clips. You just pry out on the clip. Lift up on the window and pull off, and you can see once I take one off the window wants to come down. Then just repeat that for this one here. Pry the clip off and pull it off.
Getting your lift supports from 1A Auto, they're going to go in just like the original and actually just snap right on. You might have to turn it a little bit and raise up your window and snap it right on, and you're in business.
