Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace one of the single power window switches. This is pretty much the same for the passenger front door as well as the two rear doors. You'll just need a flat blade screwdriver and a Phillips screwdriver.
Start with your flat blade screwdriver and pry up on the panel that you want to replace the switch in. Down the back side, there's a tab that holds the harness into the switch. Press that tab and disconnect the switch, and then three Phillips screws hold the switch to the trim panel. I'll fast-forward here as I remove those three. Then the switch comes off.
The switch in our vehicle is fine, so we're just doing this to show you, but you reinstall the switch, put your new switch in, start the three screws in, and then I'll fast-forward again as I tighten those up. Be sure not to over tighten them; you want to get them nice and firm but don't over tighten them. You don't want to strip out the plastic. Then reconnect the harness, put the front of the panel in first, and then snap the back down in.
Thanks for tuning in. We hope this video helped you out. Next time you need parts for your car, please visit 1AAuto.com. Also check out our other helpful how-to and diagnosis videos.
