Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to service your parking lights. We're going to show you both processes of changing the bulbs and the whole assembly. The tools you'll need are a 10 millimeter wrench or a socket and ratchet, as well as a Phillips screwdriver, and you'll need a short Phillips screwdriver.
Locate the socket, twist it to remove it, and the bulb pulls out. Line your tabs back up and twist again. Seat the bulb in its socket.
Locate the three 10 millimeter bolts on the top of the bumper cover. I'm peeling back the edge of the bumper, carefully, and I'm going to remove three 7 millimeter screws that hold the assembly in place. I'm using a shallow socket. We'll just fast-forward here. Little bit awkward, but really not that hard to get to. Just take those three screws out. I'm going to unplug the socket and I'm pulling the assembly out the front.
We got the old one, the new part from 1A Auto. You can see they're exactly the same and it will go in just like the OE part.
Again, we'll fast-forward here. Start all three of those 7 millimeter bolts into the light first, and then use your socket and ratchet to tighten them up. If the assembly comes with a new socket, or you have to replace the socket, then pull back on these two tabs at the same time, and slide out your socket. Finally, we'll kind of fast-forward through here. Just put those 10 millimeter bolts back in place to hold the top of the bumper cover.
