step 1 :Removing the Headlight Switch
- While in the OFF position, press the switch in
- Turn the switch to the right
- Remove the switch
- Disconnect the connector

step 2 :Installing the Headlight Switch
- Connect the connector with the switch in the OFF position
- Line the switch up
- Press the switch in

Before replacing any switches, you should always disconnect the negative post on your battery terminal to not short out any wires.
To access the headlight switch for replacement, you're going to press in while it's in the off position. Turn it to the right, and it should come right out. You can access the plug in the back. There will be a little tab on top. Just pull that in. Pull the switch out.
To replace the switch, you grab your harness and plug it back in. The switch can be in the off position to place it back in. Just line it up in your dash where it was initially and just push it back in until you hear it click.
