There are no tools required for this repair.

The headlight on your Nissan Rogue has a turn signal or side marker at the top here. Your low beam is going to be the outermost bulb on either side. Your high beam will be innermost bulb. While there are some different components in the way left and right, this will be the same procedure on either side.

To replace your high beam. Reach in, turn the bulb counter clockwise and remove it. Push down on the connector and remove your bulb. Always wear gloves and be sure not to touch the glass on halogen bulbs as it causes them to burn out more quickly.

Reinstall your headlight bulb into the connector. Line it up into your housing and rotate it clockwise to engage. For your low beam. Rotate it counterclockwise and unplug the connector. This is also a halogen bulb, so wear gloves or be sure not to touch the glass.

Reconnect your new bulb. Reinstall it into the housing and rotate clockwise to engage. For your turn signal. Rotate your socked counter clockwise. Push down and rotate your bulb counter clockwise and remove it. You'll notice the pins are staggered here and will only go in one way. Be sure to check that when you're installing the bulb. Reinstall the bulb into the socket. Push down fully and rotate clockwise until it engages.

If you put this in backwards, it will push all the way down and it won't turn, so just rotate it 180 degrees and lock it in. Reinstall into the housing and rotate clockwise to engage. Now while it looks tight, the other side, I can still get my hand back here and access all of these bulbs without removing the intake piping.
