Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video we're going to show you how to replace the fog lights, both if you just want to replace your bulb, and as well as if your fog light got wiped out by a slight accident or they often get taken out by rocks and things like that. The only tool you'll need is a 10 millimeter socket with a ratchet.

You'll see I've got the car up on a lift. That's not necessary. It just makes it a whole lot easier to film for you. If you're just looking to change the bulb in your fog light, what you're going to want to do is reach up underneath. This is your aiming screw. You want to feel right above that, and that's your bulb. Turn counterclockwise and pull it back. Obviously to replace that. There's a little tab there. Pull that with your thumb, disconnect the bulb, and then obviously put the new on one. This bulb is fine. Put the bulb back in. Put it up in there and actually look through your fog light. Get it started up in there, first. You look through your fog light. You see the bulb coming through, and then you can see the shape of the connector, so you can kind of turn your fog light as you need to. Get it in there, then turn it clockwise, and lock into place.

If you're looking to remove your or replace your entire fog light, pull your bulb or what's left of your socket out. Then right here, you can see mine have never been out before, obviously. There are two 10 millimeter nuts. You want to pull these protectors off the ends of the studs and then remove those two 10 millimeter nuts. We're going to speed it up. Use your socket and ratchet to loosen up the bolts. Then you can probably take the ratchet handle off, and just use the socket and your fingers to get it most of the way off until they start coming real easy, and then just use your fingers to pull them out. Push both forward, and the light comes out.

Here's our old light and a new light from 1A Auto. Whatever your motivation -- these fog lights do get wiped out quite often, or you just want to replace it with a new light just because it's nicer, fresher, to make your car look a little cleaner. The only thing you want to do before you put it in . see, we've got a new bulb and our new light. Just kind of measure the distance between here and here and adjust this screw so it's the same as your old light. That just gives you a good preliminary aim. Then put our new light back in place. Pull the old bulb down. Disconnect it. This part is just the reverse of the original procedure. I'll speed it up here again. With the new light, the nuts should probably go on most of the way by hand, and then just tighten them up with the ratchet and socket. Now connect the lead in the fog light. The new fog light looks quite nice tucked in there.
