New Fog / Driving Light from 1AAuto.com How to install, repair, fix, change, or replace a broken, damaged, burned out, cracked, faded, cloudy or chipped fog light on 14, 15, 16 Audi SQ5
Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
To replace this fog light, it will be the same on both sides. You just have to pull this grille out of the bumper. It takes a good amount of force. Might have to use two hands. Kind of reach your fingers in here and give it a good strong pull. It will pop right out. Put that aside.
There's two T25 Torx bolts holding this in: one here and one here. Just going to use a Torx bit on the end of this extension and ratchet. Remove this one. Remove the other one. Pull the fog light lens straight out. Just slide this little tab out from behind the bumper and unplug it. Just kind of push these together and then unlock it.
Pull it apart. Change the bulb after we unplug it. Just turn it counterclockwise. Pull it out of the housing.
Here's the original, here's our brand new one from 1A Auto. You can see it's got the same style mounting and this little tab piece. This one actually came with a bulb installed. This lens is nice and clear, and this one's all pitted and dirty from driving down the road. This will fit great and really help with seeing at night.
Just going to plug it back in. Feed the harness back in. This tab is going to go into this little opening here. Slide that right back there. Reinstall these Torx screws. Just tighten them a little bit, you don't have to kill them. Do the same for the other one.
Reinstall the grille. Two tabs here are going to slide into the bumper there and this clips along the edge. Get those started, and then push it into place. It'll click in. Fog light is replaced.
