Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace your evap canister on this 1996 Chevy Tahoe. The only tools that you're going to need are a 13mm socket and ratchet, and a flat blade screwdriver.
Your evap canister is located right here. Using a flat blade screwdriver, just pry off these two hoses. Then, you want to loosen up this 13mm bolt, and that will loosen up the bracket on the evap canister. Once that's loosened, you can pull the canister up and out.
Now push your new evap canister down into place. Now you want to just tighten up that bracket again. We'll just fast foward as Don does that. Now just push those two hoses back into place and you're all set.
