step 1 :Removing the Air Filter
- Undo the four thumb clips
- Pull off the air filter box
- Remove the air filter

step 2 :Installing the New Air Filter
- Push the new air filter into place
- Push the air filter box on
- Redo the thumb clips

In this video we show you how to remove and put back in the air filter on this 2000 Honda Accord, same as any '98 to '02 Accord, and this vehicle has the 4 cylinder engine.
To check or replace your air filter, there are little thumb tabs here. You can see you just flip them down. There are two in the back here too, and this just lifts up and off. Here's your filter. Now this one is dirty, but it's doesn't really need a replacement. Put it back in, push the filter down, shut your box down. Make sure it goes on properly. Push the locks back on.
