Learn how to replace the engine air filter on your 91-96 Toyota Camry with detailed instructions in this video from 1A Auto.
Brought to you by 1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the internet. In this video, we'll be showing you how to remove and put back in your air filter on this '94 Camry, same as any '91 to '96 Camry.
The air filter is located right here at the driver side engine compartment, right behind the battery. There are four clips that hold it, one here, one here, one back down in there and then one more difficult to see right on the other corner right back in here.
These clips, use your thumb and just pull all four of them. Then you need to lift up, a pretty good lift up and get the box out of the way then your air filter just pulls up right out. On the filter, you want to check between the folds, see how dirty it is. This one probably should be replaced but this is just a video on a new car so I'm going to show you how to put it back in. We do sell the Cannon style filters which are nice condition, little extra cost. They last the life of your car, also off road modest performance and millage. To reinstall, lift up the air box, put the filter down in and then you kind of need to lift up on the box, push it towards the motor, put it down and make sure it goes down on there and latch the four latches.
