How To Replace Engine Air Filter 1993-2008 Lincoln Town Car

In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the engine air filter in this 2000 Lincoln Town Car. It's the same as any '98 to '02. We just take the filter in and out just to show you. You don't need any tools for this repair.

To remove and replace the air filter on one of these cars is pretty easy. There are two tabs that just flip up right here, and then you can pull this up. Pull the air filter up and out.

Okay, and we'll obviously put it back down and in. The ridged side goes down. Okay, you can see over here there's a tab. Let's see here. You can see that there's a few tabs on the inside that you want to make sure go down and underneath.

Okay, so kind of pick it up and push it down in there and then take the tabs. I'm going to take these locking clamps and lock them back down.
