In this video, we're going to just show you how to remove and reinstall the engine air filter, on this 2004 Dodge Stratus. This is the same as any 2001 to 2006 Stratus that has the 2.7 Liter V6 engine. The only tool you'll need is an 8 millimeter wrench or a socket with a ratchet.

To service the air cleaner on this Stratus, there is a nut here, 8 millimeter, and a clamp here that has an 8 millimeter bolt. I'm going to remove this first. Now, we'll loosen this clamp. Then, right in here, there's a little clip with a harness on it. Just kind of twist this and lift it up and out. Now, you want to pull that off the engine, push this back, up and out. Back here, there are tabs. Push this one and this one in. That pops off. Here's your air filter. Pull your air filter off.

Put a new one back on. We reinstall this. Make sure those clips pop in. Then put this in. You have to make sure you kind of turn this a little bit. Push it back and down in. Okay, now put this back down and on. We'll need our nut. Put that on there. Make sure your duct . be very careful. Make sure this goes correctly back on. Push it on nice and firm. Right here, these two tabs line up with that protrusion, just like that. Now, hold that correctly in place. Tighten that clamp up. This came off. Just make sure it's back on there, and then we'll tighten up this nut here.
