Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we show you how to service the engineer filter on this 2001 Ford GX2. A pretty easy operation. No tools are needed.
I'm removing the breather hose from the gear box, giving myself a little bit more room. Unclamp it and pull it aside. Mass airflow sensor wire, I'm taking it off of its bracket and I'm removing the big clamp. I'm actually just going to undo it and slide it over this portion of the air filter, and then lift it up out of the way and inside. Then remove the air filter.
With the new air filter installed, you need to match up the indent with the tab on the top of the air box. Then get your clamp over when you've got it together. Squeeze it back shut, put your harness back on, put your breather pipe back in the fitting back on the air box.
