Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we show you how to service the side marker light whether you have to replace the bulb or if you've gotten into a little incident and you need to replace a broken one. It is a pretty easy operation. The only thing you'll need is a Phillips screwdriver, a flat blade screwdriver and a paper towel or a rag to protect your paint.
Open up your hood, and you want to remove this Phillips screw right here. Once you get that screw out, just kind of move the light around a little bit. Take a paper towel and a flat blade screwdriver, insert it in the back here. Pry it forward, as well as, I'm pushing on the tab here forward. Then pop the light out. Then, for this bulb, you can push on the little tab and disconnect, and then the bulb just twists counterclockwise, and this bulb pulls out.
The new light from 1A AUTO is exactly the same as the original one. It's got a bolt here exactly the same. I'm going to reconnect my bulb first. It's got a little tab right here and here. Those both go into the lineup. This goes into this clip. This goes right into this lineup hole. Then make sure that these, obviously, go on the inside of the fender. Push it back in. Now, push the top in. Start your screw here.
