Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the parking and side marker light on this 2002 Grand Prix, same as any '97 to '03 Grand Prix. The only tool you're going to need is a Phillips screwdriver.
Okay, to service the side marker light, pretty easy. One bulb is right up here on top, you push a little tab, twist counterclockwise, and you're going to press this tab here. This orange bulb just pulls out and pushes back in. There is a light on the side marker here, okay. To get to that, or to change your entire assembly if it was damaged, there's a screw right on top here you're going to remove. Pull it right up, then you pull your light out, and then forward.
Again, take that off, turn this light counterclockwise, there's our little bulb and it looks like this. One does need to be changed.
Here's a new light from 1A Auto. Pull off these little protectors carefully, keeps everything out during shipping. Comes with a new gasket for there, and we're going to put in our marker light here. Twist to lock it. Make sure this tab goes back in right here. This fell through. I'm going to remove this gasket, put a new gasket on.
