Hi, I'm Mike Green. I'm one of the owners of 1A Auto. I want to help you save time and money repairing or maintaining your vehicle. I'm going to use my 20-plus years experience restoring and repairing cars and trucks like this to show you the correct way to install parts from 1AAuto.com. The right parts installed correctly: that's going to save you time and money. Thank you and enjoy the video.

In this video, we'll show you how to replace the signal and side marker light on this 2005 Explorer Sport Trac, the same as any '01 to '05. The only tool you'll need is a Phillips screwdriver.

For Ford Explorer signal light replacement, all you're going to need is a Phillips screwdriver. You're going to start by removing a small Phillips screw right here at the top of the parking light. I'm taking out the screw. I kind of put my fingernail in underneath the head of the screw and pull up a little bit. It doesn't really like to come out otherwise. It kind of spins in there. After you have that out, you grip the light back in here and just pull it out, and basically change the parking light bulb. You can just twist that out, and your parking light is out. You can see there's two pins right here. They go into these grommets right here, so that's kind of what's holding it in.

If you have broken your parking light, see this is the new parking light from 1A Auto here. This is the old. You can see the 1A Auto replacement is exactly the same, a little clearer and shinier. Obviously, it has the same pins on the back here, just like the original. The light will plug in just the same. Obviously, to reinstall the side marker and signal, insert the bulb. Twist. Line up your pins, just place the light in place. As long as you have the light pretty close, it pushes back in. Put your screw in. You're all set.
