In this video we're going to show you how to replace the air filter on this Buick Century same as a lot of GM front drive cars. All's you need is a regular flat screwdriver. You're going to remove your intake hose here by loosening up this clamp over here at the engine, and then this clamp here at the air box. Then you pull your hose off the engine and then pull your hose off the air box. That comes up and out of the way. To get to the air filter, you pull up these two clips, the door comes off, the air filter comes out. 1A Auto, we sell K&N air filters. K&N, they cost more, but they never need replacing. You can take them out, clean them, and re-oil them. Also, they provide a little better flow for slightly better performance and slightly better gas mileage.
Make sure you get it down between the door and the box. Push the filter in. Then clip it shut. Now to get your air cleaner in, what I suggest you do is this piece here comes off of your airflow sensor, and this little tab goes into, this tab here goes into this groove here. Put this on and the inside goes into the lip and the outside goes obviously outside the lip. You got to make sure you put this together correctly because if this allow air to leak past the airflow sensor, you could have major problems. So that tab is in there sensor side down in. Kind of lift if up and push the engine side down. Make sure we get the sensor in there nice and straight. Then you want to line these arrows here up with this tab here as well. Then tighten this up nice and tight. Then make sure your hose is here on the engine really well, and tighten this clamp up here.
