Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video, I'm going to show you how to replace an air filter in a 2007 Pontiac G6 it will be fundamentally the same way to do it in a 2005 to a 2010. You'll need a Torx 25 screwdriver and a new air filter from 1A Auto.

Locate the three Torx 25 screws that go in the top of the air filter housing, in this case our vehicle only has two still left in it, and then go ahead and remove those. Disconnect the mass air flow sensor by pulling back on the white portion of the clip, then pushing down and pulling out. Pull the housing back and up, and then pull your air filter out.

Go ahead and install the air filter by pushing down and seating it inside the lower air filter housing. Match up your two tabs with the bracket on the bottom of the air filter housing and press down, and then put in your screws. Now tighten those screws back up. Then reconnect your mass air flow sensor by reinstalling the connector and pressing the white clip back in.
