How to check and fill your power steering fluid on 07 Mazda 3
Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
Hi, everyone. Sue here at 1A Auto and today, and we're going to be working on an '07 Mazda 3 with a 2.0 liter. We're going to check the power steering fluid level in the reservoir, show the proper level, and where to look up to see what kind of fluid to put in it. If you need any parts for your car, head on over to 1aauto.com.
Hood release is located right here. Safety latch is right above the Mazda symbol, right in the center. You just turn it over to the right. Then you have the hood prop rod, and you put it in where the arrow goes and says rod. Get in there and lock it in.
Here, we have the location of the power steering fluid. This has a mark that you can see. It says max and low down below. It's just a smidge below the max. That's within the level. No need to add any. If you need to add power steering fluid, check your service manual. It should tell you the type of fluid what it takes, and whether it's power steering fluid or ATF or a special fluid from the Mazda dealer.
Thanks for watching. Visit us at 1AAuto.com for quality auto parts, fast and free shipping, and the best customer service in the industry.
Sue shows you how holding your key fob against your head or a bottle of water helps to increase its range!
