Do you know when you should change your vehicle's windshield wiper blades?
How do you know if it's time to change your windshield wipers? There's four ways. Number one, streaking. If your wipers are unevenly worn, they won't touch the windshield completely and will leave streaks. Number two, squeaking. As your wipers get older, material on the wiper begins to harden which eventually causes the wipers to squeak. Number three, splitting. If your wiper blades have cracks and splits in the rubber, they will not clean the windshield properly. Number four, skipping. If your wiper blades go unused for a long period of time, they can develop a curvature that causes them not to make proper contact with the windshield. If your wipers have any of these symptoms, they should be replaced.
