The Big Game is almost here! Check out some tips and tricks to get your vehicle tailgate party ready for any game day, party or outing!
Hey, friends, it's Len here from 1A Auto. You may be ready for the big game tailgate party, but is your vehicle? Let's go over a couple 1A ways of getting your truck ready for the tailgate party.
Okay, friends, so we know about all those obvious things, the food, the grill, the chairs, the games. That's all fun and good, but what we need to start thinking about is how to make sure your ride survives this tailgate.
So, let's talk about checking your oil level. You want to make sure that your engine's staying well lubricated.
After that, you want to go ahead and make your way over to that brake fluid. Make sure that that's topped off. Very important, right?
If your washer fluid's low, top that off. Being able to see, super important if you ask me.
Let's move on over to that radiator and make sure that it's full. If you check the overflow and it looks full, more than likely, the radiator's over-full. If it's hot, don't open it.
Next thing I would check is making sure that that battery's well-charged. The last thing you want to do is be out in the middle of the field with your buddies and the music turns off. Boo!
And let's make sure you have a set of these jumper cables for a just-in-case scenario.
Now, let's move along to checking the tire pressure. Make sure you get it to the proper specifications. If you aren't sure, check inside that left front door, and it'll tell you exactly where it's supposed to be at.
While you're down here, take a peek at those brakes. If you need 'em, we got 'em.
Make sure you check that dash for any miscellaneous maintenance lights. No "check engine" light, we're doing all right.
Let's check those running lights. Ha-ha!
Ow! Don't be this guy.
Let's take a look at some other great things to have. We have our emergency kit over here, which is great for incidentals, a nice heated blanket because, well, sometimes it gets cold. You come right over here, you want to remember that road trip with your buddies, yes.
And now, for one of the most important things to keep your gear safe, a tonneau cover. Down the road you go.
Okay, friends, so we're having a little bit of fun at our tailgate party. Hopefully, you're having some fun at yours. Hopefully, you learned a little something, and if you liked the video, like, comment, subscribe, and ding-ding-ding-ding-ding, ring that bell.
Where'd everybody go? Huh. Well, at least we had fun, I think.
