To raise and support your Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis, or Lincoln Town Car, your vehicle has an aluminum sub-frame under the engine that you do not want to jack up on. Aluminum is strong as a chassis part, but not a good place to support the weight of your vehicle.
Fortunately this vehicle has a full frame, so it can be lifted just about anywhere all the way down the frame on either side. Like I said, it's a full, metal, box-frame. You can't go wrong jacking up just about anywhere on here, even in the back corners if need be. You can also jack up from your rear axle, either on the diff or on one of the brackets or the axle tube itself and support it from any of the places we've just shown you as well. You can jack up from the diff and support from the frame, jack up from the frame and support at the axle, or just about any way you need to, to get your vehicle up where you want it.
Thanks for watching. Visit us at 1AAuto.com for quality auto parts, fast and free shipping, and the best customer service in the industry.
