How to Reset Oil Light 2009-18 Ram 1500

As you can see on this screen, when your oil change is due you'll have a message that comes up saying oil change required.

What you want to do is on these buttons on the steering wheel, you can scroll through and you'll see it's going to change where you're at. Right now it's on the trip. That's the music. That's the messages. That's a enter screen, speed, and now we're on the truck screen. It looks like a truck right above the fuel.

Then you're going to move over to this arrow, right below the phone button, and you're going to click on that, and you're going to keep scrolling through on this. There's your tire pressures, and then next is your trans temp, and then oil temperature, and now this is the oil life.

Right now we're at 77%, but I'm going to show you how to reset it. What you do is you're going to hold that same arrow button down, and then it's going to ask you to confirm you want to reset the oil life. You're going to go back to this button and scroll down to the okay, and then you're going to hit the enter to confirm, then it's back to 100%
