step 1 :Removing the Windshield Washer Fluid Pump
- Pop the hood
- Have a drain pan ready
- Remove the feed tube on the bottom of the washer bottle
- Lift the red safety and release the washer pump connector
- Pop the top of the washer pump out of the reservoir
- Pull the washer pump out

step 2 :Installing the Windshield Washer Fluid Pump
- Press the pump into place
- Reconnect the wiring harness
- Connect the feed tube
- Refill the washer fluid

In this video, we are going to show you how to remove and reinstall your windshield washer pump. This is a 2008 Dodge Ram. You need a flat blade screwdriver, drain bucket, and some new washer fluid.
Open your hood and locate your coolant expansion and washer reservoir bottles. Remove the feed tube on the bottom of your washer. Make sure you have a drain bucket to catch what comes out.
Lift the red safety to the connector, release the connector from your washer pump. Pop the top of the washer pump out of the reservoir and pull it out the rubber O-ring at the bottom. This washer pump is operating fine, so we are going to go ahead and reinstall it.
Press the bottom into the rubber O-ring at the bottom of the washer reservoir and pop the top back into the retainer. Reinstall your electrical connector. Push the safety back into place.
Reconnect your washer hose, the bottom of the pump, refill your washer fluid.
