How to Replace Window Regulator Sliding Pivot Clip 2001-07 Volvo V70

1. step 1 :Removing the Front Door Panel 0:38

   • Raise the window
   • Pry off the sail panel behind the mirror
   • Pry off the trim cover from the door pull
   • Remove the six door panel clips with a small flat blade screwdriver
   • Remove the mounting screws from the door pull with a T25 Torx screwdriver
   • Grab the door panel and lift it up
   • Disconnect the interior door handle cable
   • Disconnect the speaker wiring harness
   • Disconnect the master window switch wiring harnesses

2. step 2 :Removing the Window Regulator Clips 3:26

   • Peel back the watershield
   • Pry out the metal clip from the window regulator clip with a flat blade screwdriver
   • Pry the regulator from the clip with a flat blade screwdriver
   • Push the window regulator clip out from the window regulator
   • To access the other side, squeeze the black casing to release it from the clips

3. step 3 :Installing the Window Regulator Clips 4:53

   • Press the window regulator clip into the regulator
   • Clip the window regulator to the regulator clip

4. step 4 :Installing the Front Door Panel 7:10

   • Connect the window switch connectors
   • Connect the interior door handle cable
   • Connect the speaker wiring harness
   • Push the door panel and pushing it back in place
   • Line up the door panel with the door
   • Push in the six door panel clips
   • Tighten the T25 screw to the door panel
   • Press the T25 trim cover into the door pull
   • Press the sail panel on
