Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. We've been selling auto parts for over 30 years.

What's up, guys? I'm Andy from 1A Auto. Today I'm gonna show you how to check the under hood fuse box in this 2011 Ford Explorer. If there's any parts you need for your vehicle, click the link in the description and head over to 1aauto.com.

We're gonna pop the hood. Right here there's a little lever. Pull that to unlatch the hood. This, the lock right here, push it towards the passenger's side. Prop rod. Put that in that slot there. The under hood fuse box is located right here next to your battery. There's two little tabs on the back here. Push those tabs, and then you can slide this open. There's a key on the backside of here which states the numbers of the fuses. You're gonna have to check your owner's manual to find which fuse actually does what.

If you had to pull a fuse out, there's nothing to pull a fuse out with. You can try to do it with your fingers or you can use some needle nose pliers. Grab the fuse. Squeeze it. You can check to see if it's good. You can reinsert the fuse. Close it up. Take the prop rod out. Put that in position. Close the hood.
