Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks!
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the turn signal stock, which activates the wipers on this 1989 Jeep Wrangler. You won't need any tools. You'll just need a new turn signal stock from 1AAuto.com.
We are showing you on this Jeep Wrangler, but this turn signal stock can fit in many different Jeep and GM vehicles. It's pretty simple. Just grab your old one, pull firmly, and it pulls from the switch stock.
You can see here the old one all worn out. The new one will actually let you see what motor the wipers are in. It's all the same. The new one from 1A Auto is going to install exactly the same.
It has a couple of keyways on it. You just need to put it in carefully, line it up, might have to turn it a few degrees. Push it in firm, and then you need to turn the wipers switch portion, and make sure it goes all the way in, and will activate the wipers. You can see it here installed. You can actually see what you're doing from the driver's seat.
Thanks for tuning in. We hope this video helped you out. Next time you need parts for your car, please visit 1AAuto.com. Also check out our other helpful how-to and diagnosis videos.
