In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the trunk struts on this Buick Century. You just need a small regular screwdriver. For these rear hatch supports, all you need is a small screwdriver. Put your screwdriver in, you pry this clip out. OK, it comes out. Do the same thing down here at the bottom. Pry the clip out. It comes right out. Do the same thing down here at the bottom. Pry the clip out. Pull the support right off.
On this car, actually, the supports are in good shape. It's just a subject vehicle. At 1A Auto, our supports are all the same, the same length, same compression. Put it back in. All you do is make sure these clips are in place. Press it back on, and press it back on.
