How to replace a broken, damaged or burnt out trunk courtesy light bulb to the 08 Honda Civic.

step 1 :Removing the Trunk Courtesy Light Bulb
- Open the Trunk
- Pop the courtesy light out of the trunk with a flat blade screwdriver
- Pull the bulb out of the courtesy light

step 2 :Installing the Trunk Courtesy Light Bulb
- Push the new bulb into the courtesy light
- Pop the courtesy light into the trunk
- Close the trunk

step 3 :Removing the Courtesy Light Lens
- Open the Trunk
- Pop the courtesy light out of the trunk with a flat blade screwdriver
- Disconnect the courtesy light electrical connector

step 4 :Installing the Courtesy Light Lens
- Connect the courtesy light electrical connector
- Pop the courtesy light into the trunk
- Close the trunk

Inside your trunk is a courtesy light. This one is working, but if your light bulb was burned out and you can't see in here at nighttime, you can take a flat bladed screwdriver and reach up from the side and push in. There's a tab. Come right down, and inside of here is a 194 bulb. You pull it out.
Push it back in. it will probably light up as soon as you plug it in.
If you need to replace this lens, you can unplug it, plug it back in, and just push it back up and into place.
