How to replace the third brake light on 08, 09, 10, 11, 12 Ford Escape

  1. step 1 :Removing the Third Brake Light
    • Remove the Phillips screws from the housing
    • Open the lift glass
    • Pry up the third brake light housing with a trim tool
    • Pry the third brake light out
    • Disconnect the hose with a trim tool or flat blade screwdriver
    • Disconnect the wiring harness
  2. step 2 :Installing the Third Brake Light
    • Connect the wiring harness to the third brake light housing
    • Connect the washer hose to the third brake light housing
    • Insert the third brake light into place
    • Close the lift glass
    • Tighten the Phillips screws to the third brake light

  • Phillips Head Screwdriver
