How To Replace Taillights Bulbs 2003-07 Saturn Ion

In this video we're going to show you how to service the taillight on this 2003 Saturn Ion sedan. The procedure's the same for any 03-07 sedan. The only tool you'll need is a T10 torx driver.

Okay, servicing the bulbs or changing the whole taillight is pretty easy on these Ions. You need a T10 torx driver, and there's three screws one there, one in the middle and one down here. Okay, just do a little fast forward as I remove those three screws. With the screws out, the light just kind of slides back out. If you're just looking to replace the bulbs just twist them counterclockwise, this one and then this one, all counterclockwise as they come out. Take that off right there. To replace one of these bulbs you just pull it straight out and push it back in. This one also just pull straight out, pushes back in. A new taillight from A1 Auto looks exactly like the original. Everything's going to go together like the original. To put the bulbs in twist clockwise to lock, goes in clockwise to lock, and this bulb clockwise to lock. Put your clip right back on here, and the light slides out. This part right here slides in behind. Just make sure that everything There's a clip over here, there's a couple of pins on the side that go into the vehicle. Just make sure everything goes together correctly. This slides in there.

We'll kick it into overdrive again here as I put those screws back in.
