In this video we'll be replacing the taillight in this 2001 Chevy S10 pickup. It's petty much the same as the stile S10 or S15 pickup. It's easy and only requires a Phillips screwdriver. Taillight replacement on a '98 to '04 S10 is easy.
Open up the tailgate. You have two screws, one here and one here. You can go right in through the latch there. Hope it won't fall out. The light comes out. You've taken the screws out. Pull it out. You kind of shake it up and down. It's free. It's pretty simple. Everything just kind of twists off. You can service your bulbs or replace your taillight as needed.
Put it back in. It's on. It has two pins here. They go in the holes there. Put these two screws here. I can't find this one. There it is. That's all. That's it. It's very simple.
