In this video, we're going to be working with our 2006 Chrysler 300. We're going to show you how to remove and replace your tail lights as an assembly, as well as all of the bulbs.

Open the trunk. Inside of the trunk you'll find this little plastic thumb screw, loosen that up. Looks like a 10 millimeter hex on here in case it's stuck, but you should just be able to remove it by hand. Carefully pull your carpet back. You'll find two more thumb screws in here on the tail light. We'll loosen those up again. There's a hex on here, but you should be able to remove them without any tools.
Now you can remove your tail light. If you're replacing the bulbs, you'll see all three of them located here. All of these will simply turn counterclockwise and the bulb will pop out. Install your new bulb, place the socket back in on the angle you removed it, and turn it clockwise to reinstall.
This is the same for any bulb in this assembly. This little insulator fell off when we removed our tail light. You want to make sure that that goes back over the connector before you line up your pins and reinstall it.
Reinstall the top and bottom outside thumb screws. Get those on as tight as you can. Don't do the one closest to the trunk on the bottom, because that's the one that holds our carpet in place. Reinstall your electrical connector and once it's seated on there fully. Push down on the red tab to lock it in. Lay your carpet back up into place and reinstall that last thumb screw. Check for proper operation of your lights and you're good to go.
