How to Replace Tail Light 1997-2003 Pontiac Grand Prix

In this video, I'm going to show you tail lights replacement on this 98 Pontiac Grand Prix same as the 97 to 03. I'll show you replacing both the whole tail light assembly and how to adjust, replace the bulbs. No tools are needed.

To remove all these tail lights, you pull this back actually you're going to... You have this net, pull the net off first. Okay, pull back here and then move these three thumb screws. Tail lights goes back and off. If you're just looking to replace your bulbs, you just twist these little ones. The little one pull right out, push back in. Okay, larger ones have old tab, press down, twist the bulb, the same thing. Pull out this one in. Okay, the same thing over here with this one.

There goes our original light and the light from 1A Auto. It seems like they're almost the same. This just doesn't have this inflammation separated going on so it looks a lot better, a lot fresher. Going to install all the same, put your bulbs in, twist. Put this in, twist. Give it a twist. Okay, and we'll speed it up here as put those thumb screws back on. You just needed to tight them up by hand. Make sure you put the one that the cargo net hooks to if you have it down the lower corner.
