step 1 :Removing the Sway Bar Bushings
- Remove the two 13mm bolts from the sway bar bushing bracket
- Pull the bracket down and off
- Pull the bushing off the sway bar
- Repeat these steps for the other bushing

step 2 :Installing the Sway Bar Bushing
- Split the sway bar bushing
- Slide the bushings onto the sway bar, with the flat part facing the frame
- Put the bracket over the bushing
- Install the two 13mm bolts into bushing bracket
- Repeat these steps for the other bracket

These bushings are responsible for keeping the sway bar in the proper place and insulated from the frame. This can cause a rattling or a bumping sound when going over bumps. Your sway bar bushing is located right at the frame, inside of the sway bar on either side. The bushing is held down with a bracket, which is secured with two 13mm bolts. We'll start by removing these two with a socket, ratchet, and extension and move on to the other side. Once the bolts are out, remove the bracket from the top of the bushing. You'll find that the bushing has a slot in it. We'll slide the bushing off from under the frame, and pull it off of the bar. Repeat this process on the opposite side.
Split the bushing and reinstall it over the bar with the flat part facing up to the frame. We'll do this on both sides just to make it easier. Reinstall the bracket over the bushing, I like to get one of the bolts started at this point just to make it easier. Once you got a couple of turns, go ahead and install the other one. Repeat these steps on the opposite side. Now that we have all four bolts started, we can go ahead and tighten this side down all the way.
