In this video, we're going to show you how to replace a sun visor in an '89 Jeep Wrangler. If your sun visors are kind of laughing at you driving down the road, saying, Remove me, remove me!"? this should help you out.
Use A T20 Torx driver. I have a style that's a socket on a ratchet. You could also use a screwdriver style. Remove the four screws that hold the sun visor in place.
New sun visors from 1A Auto, you can see they're exactly like the original. They even have the crease in the side, the roll bar.
When you first put them up there you'll notice the mounts are thinner, so you'll want to pull them apart. You see I do it with a little more force here. You just grab on and you twist and pull them, and one side pulls, I believe it's the outside one that pulls out. Keep test fitting, pull and twist to lengthen it until you get it right. Then pretty simply take the four screws, start them in, and then tighten them up. Once the screws are tight, just make sure they're working properly. Again, the creased side goes against the roll bar.
Thanks for tuning in. We hope this video helped you out. Next time you need parts for your car, please visit 1AAuto.com. Also check out our other helpful how-to and diagnosis videos.
