How to replace a broken or loose sun visor on 09 Honda CRV
Flat Blade Screwdriver
T25 Torx Socket
Pick
Hi. I'm Mike from 1AAuto. We've been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
All right, to get the sun visor out, first, we're going to release it right here. We want to pull this cover off. Over here we'll take a 90 pick, or you can take a straight screwdriver. Just pull this little cover off like this. Slide this off. There's a slot for the cover to come off. Just like that. I'm going to use a T25 driver. You can use that. Looks like you could also use a straight blade screwdriver if you didn't have a Torx bit. So pull the screw out. Turn the visor and pull this one out. That's it. This vehicle does not have a light. If you did have a light, there would be a wire that you would have to pull down and disconnect the connector.
So we're going to reinstall this. Hold this up here. Get the screw started before we tighten down, move the visor, get this screw started. Take my Torx driver and tighten it up. We'll just snug that up. Not too tight because it is in plastic. I'll take this cover, I'm going to slide it over just like that, and just push it up.
