If your Camaro didn't come with a strut tower brace, or if your strut tower brace is damaged in some way, you may want to install one. It'll stiffen up the front end of your vehicle. It's quite easy to install. It sits right into place with all the factory holes. It even comes with the hardware itself.
There's six bolts. They thread right into the factory mounting holes on each side of the strut towers. We'll just hand-tighten them at first until we get all the bolts in. On the opposite side, put the bolts in. Again, just hand-tighten them until everything is in. It's a 13 millimeter socket that you're going to want to use. Once all of the bolts are in and hand-tight, we're going to want to torque them to 16 foot-pounds, which is the factory specification. At that point, the installation is complete.
